Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Dubai for an Admin cum Accountant. The position combines office administration with core accounting support. The selected person will oversee routine administrative work such as managing correspondence, keeping records in order, arranging meetings, and assisting with daily office coordination. On the finance side, the role includes bookkeeping, invoice handling, transaction entries, and support in preparing financial statements and reports.

In addition, the role involves tracking expenses, helping with budget monitoring, liaising with internal teams and outside vendors, and making sure work is carried out in line with company rules and relevant financial procedures. Regular status updates to management and support for efficient office and accounting operations are also part of the job.

Key Duties

  • Handle everyday administrative activities, including communication, documentation, and meeting coordination.
  • Maintain organized office records and support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Carry out bookkeeping tasks with careful and accurate recording of transactions.
  • Process invoices and assist with preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor expenses and support budget tracking efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
  • Ensure work is aligned with company policies and applicable financial processes.
  • Share timely updates with management and help improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping, with a focus on accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Hands-on experience with invoicing and preparing financial statements.
  • Good analytical ability to review data, spot inconsistencies, and assist with decisions.
  • Comfort using accounting software and MS Office tools, especially Excel, or similar applications.
  • Well-developed organizational and administrative capabilities, with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Clear English communication skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work from the Dubai office and collaborate effectively with different teams.
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a combined administrative and accounting position is advantageous.
