Job description

Role overview

The Admin Assistant will support Corporate Management, with a focus on Office and Facilities Management, to keep Singapore Red Cross Society’s backend operations running efficiently and smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day administrative documentation for the Admin Department.
  • Maintain the tagging and tracking of office assets.
  • Coordinate orders and distribution for stationery, toilet supplies, and pantry items.
  • Help maintain general office cleanliness and upkeep.
  • Monitor and manage the cleaner’s roster and daily duties.
  • Support contract tracking and renewals for the Office Management and Facilities Management teams.
  • Process monthly bills for the Society.
  • Assist with procurement of general office supplies and purchases.
  • Provide general administrative help whenever needed.
  • Carry out data entry tasks accurately.
  • Take part in Society events and activities, including occasional weekend commitments.
  • Cover banking and reception duties during the receptionist’s leave and meal breaks.
  • Work alongside admin volunteers as required.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification of a Diploma, ideally in Administration or a related field.
  • About 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in general administrative work is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of G-Suite is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Organised, careful, dependable, and willing to take initiative.
  • Able to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Additional information

This position is based onsite in Singapore and is a full-time role. The successful candidate should be prepared to support occasional weekend events and step in for reception and banking coverage when required.
