Role Overview
Oceania's Elderslea Lodge in Upper Hutt is seeking a casual Activities Assistant to join their committed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Diversional Therapist to design and execute engaging and diverse activity programs for residents.
- Assess residents’ capabilities and interests to encourage participation in activities.
- Adhere to company protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in organizing and coordinating activity programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic attitude towards elderly individuals.
- Proficient communication abilities alongside competent IT skills.
- Energetic and lively personality.
- Possession of a clean New Zealand driver's license.
- Ability to multitask flexibly.
- Willingness to work during weekends.
- Applicants must have unrestricted work rights in New Zealand.
