About the Company
Five Moons, established in 1992, is a major Saudi provider of facility management and maintenance services. Its integrated offerings include building maintenance, cleaning, pest control, MEP services, and soft services delivered to commercial, industrial, and residential clients across the Kingdom, including its Jeddah operations.
Role Overview
The Accounts Receivable Accountant will take charge of customer billing, payment collection, account reconciliations, and receivables reporting. The position is key to maintaining accurate books, supporting healthy cash flow, and reducing overdue balances through regular coordination with operations, contracts, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue customer invoices based on contract terms and approved billing timelines.
- Track customer balances and conduct timely follow-ups on unpaid invoices.
- Match customer statements, investigate differences, and correct billing issues.
- Keep receivables records complete, organized, and properly supported with documents.
- Prepare aging analysis and share periodic updates on collection progress.
- Communicate with clients on payment arrangements, invoice queries, and outstanding balances.
- Log incoming payments and apply them correctly against customer accounts.
- Contribute to receivables-related month-end and year-end closing tasks.
- Assist with cash flow projections and collection planning.
- Ensure adherence to company rules, accounting standards, and VAT obligations.
- Provide documents and support for internal and external audit reviews.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Three to five years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or general accounting is needed.
- Background in facility management, maintenance, contracting, or service-based businesses is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Saudi VAT rules and standard accounting practices is important.
- Comfort using ERP platforms and Microsoft Excel is expected.
- Strong skills in analysis, communication, and negotiation are necessary.
- Ability to manage several accounts at once while meeting collection targets is essential.

Additional Information
The role reports to the Finance Manager or Chief Accountant. It is a full-time position based onsite in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
