Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Receivable Accountant based in Dubai, UAE, to take charge of the receivables function and ensure that billing, collections, and payment tracking are handled accurately and on time across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, covering invoicing, billing, and payment collection.
  • Contact customers regarding overdue balances and drive timely receipt of payments.
  • Match customer accounts and investigate or correct invoice-related differences.
  • Compile ageing schedules and share receivables updates with management.
  • Work closely with operations and sales teams to confirm invoice correctness.
  • Keep financial records up to date and assist with month-end closing tasks.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm payments and obtain supporting documents.
  • Ensure all invoicing and receipt activities comply with UAE VAT rules.

Requirements

  • A valid UAE driving licence is compulsory.
  • At least 3–4 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable or a comparable accounting position.
  • Working knowledge of accounting tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of UAE VAT requirements and financial compliance standards.
