Job Description

The Accounts Assistant/Executive will be responsible for a comprehensive range of Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This includes generating invoices, verifying sales transactions, managing month-end closing procedures, and performing reconciliations. The role involves preparing and processing essential financial documents such as invoices for both credit and cash terms, as well as credit notes. A key part of the position is tracking and monitoring collections and payments, maintaining an up-to-date aging list for the sales team's follow-up actions. You will also be tasked with reconciling outstanding payments, addressing billing disputes, and resolving discrepancies. Additionally, the role requires the preparation and processing of Purchase Orders (PO). The position also encompasses a full spectrum of stock-related duties, including managing daily stock movements and conducting monthly and year-end stock takes. Ensuring the timely and accurate entry of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) transactions into the accounting system is crucial.

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess an LCCI Certification or a Diploma in Finance or Accounting. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate an ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player is highly valued.

Working Hours

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Additionally, there are working hours on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Sundays are designated as rest days.
