Role Overview
Auto Boland Ltd, a multi-franchise motor dealership group in Waterford, Ireland, is hiring a driven and detail-focused Accounts Assistant / Accounts Technician to support its finance operations. The salary for this position is €35,000 to €40,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle routine accounting tasks such as data input, bank reconciliations, and management of payables and receivables.
- Help prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.
- Accurately process supplier invoices, customer payments, and receipt transactions within required timelines.
- Keep financial records complete, organised, and properly supported with documentation.
- Provide assistance with finance administration and other ad hoc tasks or projects as needed.
- Work with colleagues across departments and external suppliers when required.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in an accounts or finance administration position would be an advantage.
- You should have excellent attention to detail and solid organisational ability.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems are important.
