Accounting Specialist

Overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for an accountant with US accounting experience. The work is centered on helping improve AI training data by reviewing and validating financial information. The engagement is set at 10 to 40 hours per week, with compensation of $90 to $100 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Use your US accounting background to examine, label, and verify financial records for AI model training.
• Apply US GAAP principles to keep the financial data accurate and contextually relevant.
• Partner with the AI team by sharing accounting expertise and practical feedback on workflow and process questions.
• Work with ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to inform accounting workflow insights and recommended practices.
• Help maintain dataset quality by reviewing training material and spotting missing, inconsistent, or incorrect entries.
• Write clear documentation that explains accounting scenarios and concepts for both technical and non-technical readers.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with ERP tools, especially SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
• Background in financial annotation, auditing, and documenting accounting processes.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical ideas for varied audiences.
