Role overview
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading the company’s day-to-day accounting activities, including payment handling, account reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This position is central to maintaining accurate records, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring the business follows all relevant regulatory requirements while supporting overall financial clarity and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage routine accounting activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Make sure payments are processed on time and all accounts are reconciled accurately.
- Ensure customer invoices are issued promptly.
- Keep financial records complete and accurate in line with accounting standards and internal company policies.
- Track tax responsibilities and maintain full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
- Work closely with auditors and regulators during both internal and external audit processes.
- Guide, coach, and support the accounting team to maintain strong performance and ongoing development.
- Introduce process enhancements and stronger internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Use ERP platforms effectively to support data accuracy, reporting, and automation.
- Bring strong exposure to project-driven logistics operations such as warehousing, transportation, distribution, and supply chain services.
- Have a background in logistics or transport businesses operating as third-party logistics providers in the Saudi logistics market.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; professional certifications are considered an advantage.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant accounting experience, specifically within logistics, transportation, or 3PL organizations.
- Strong command of financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
- Advanced working knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems.
- Good understanding of taxation rules and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership ability, along with strong communication and analytical thinking.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
