Role Overview

York Towers is seeking an Accountant & Administrative Manager in Dubai to take ownership of finance, administration, compliance, and selected HR support functions. This is a practical, fast-moving role suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable handling both accounting work and UAE government-related processes. The position supports senior leaders and helps keep day-to-day operations efficient and compliant.

Work Schedule

The working week runs from Saturday to Wednesday.

Key Duties

  • Take charge of routine accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, account reconciliations, invoicing, payment processing, budgeting, and preparation of financial reports.
  • Manage VAT registration and filing with the UAE Federal Tax Authority, along with banking portal tasks and KYC documentation.
  • Handle legal and administrative procedures with local authorities, including document clearing, trademark registration, and applications for new trade licenses.
  • Oversee interactions with government, telecom, and banking portals, including KYC and WPS-related requirements.
  • Maintain office operations by managing supplies, resources, and equipment.
  • Assist with the recruitment process from advertising roles and interviewing candidates to coordinating employment visa processing and NOC submissions for freelance visa holders.
  • Work with HR on attendance tracking, payroll coordination, leave approvals, and general employee matters.
  • Support executives with calendar management, correspondence, and project coordination.
  • Coordinate further legal formalities with local authorities, including notarization, attestation, and document clearing.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable administrative role within the UAE.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related discipline is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of UAE government rules, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable using MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as CRM platforms.
  • Arabic language proficiency at C2 level and English at C1 level.
