Job description
About the Company
Notion is an AI-powered collaboration workspace that brings knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools into one place so teams can work with more speed, clarity, and less friction. It serves a wide range of users, from individuals and small teams to large enterprises.
Employees at Notion, known internally as Notinos, are treated as the first users of the product and help shape the company’s vision for modern work. The culture values craftsmanship, long-term thinking, and the belief that meaningful work remains deeply human. The company is focused not just on adding features, but on setting a new standard for how people collaborate in the AI era, whether that means building a company’s core system of record, managing AI agents, or eliminating repetitive tasks.
Role Overview
Notion is looking for an Account Executive based in Dublin to win new Mid-Market customers and grow existing accounts across Central and Eastern Europe. This is a role for a seasoned full-cycle seller who is comfortable leading structured discovery, delivering persuasive product demos, handling both technical and commercial stakeholders, and moving complex deals to a close with urgency and a strong outbound approach.
You will engage with decision-makers such as CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Product, and VPs of Engineering. To succeed, you’ll need strong product understanding in technical environments, including APIs, data, developer tools, infrastructure, and AI or agentic workflows.
What You Will Do
- Take an outbound-led approach to create fresh pipeline and build momentum quickly within target accounts.
- Own the complete sales journey from prospecting and discovery through solution mapping, demonstrations, stakeholder coordination, negotiation, and final close.
- Conduct sharp discovery conversations that uncover business goals and technical needs, then turn those insights into a clear business value story.
- Lead live demos and customized presentations that help prospects evaluate the product, including basic solution planning such as workspace structure, permission design, rollout strategy, and integrations.
- Work through complex enterprise buying steps involving security, legal, and procurement by coordinating with internal partners.
- Build reliable forecasts and maintain a high-speed execution rhythm that supports quota achievement or overachievement.
- Collaborate with Solutions, Product, and Marketing teams to bring field insights back into the business.
What You Need
- Between 4 and 7+ years of experience closing deals in a full-cycle, quota-carrying role, or in a closely related role with strong closing responsibility, with a track record of meeting targets.
- Experience selling to, or working closely with, technical buyers such as CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and VPs of Product, with the ability to connect product features to workflow and return-on-investment outcomes.
- Strong outbound habits, creative pipeline generation, and the ability to run the full sales motion including discovery, demos, and closing.
- Proven success in managing multi-stakeholder deals and influencing decision-making within complex customer organizations.
- Strong ownership and initiative, with a tendency to create momentum, solve problems proactively, and build trust across teams.
- Comfort using AI in day-to-day work and the ability to discuss modern AI-enabled work practices.
- Comfort working through ambiguity while helping shape Notion’s Mid-Market approach across CEE, including outbound, partner-led, and expansion motions.
- Strong command of English and Polish.
- Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve productivity and outcomes, even without being an AI specialist.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to usage-based or consumption-based pricing models.
- Background in developer tooling, APIs, data, infrastructure, or AI-related products.
- Experience moving from commercial sales into mid-market accounts and handling greater deal complexity.
- Knowledge of Ukrainian.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated total on-target earnings for this position are between €145,000 and €175,000 per year, including base pay and incentive compensation. Final compensation will depend on factors such as location, scope of the role, and the candidate’s experience and expertise. Notion also offers equity and benefits.
Application and Privacy
By submitting an application, you agree that Notion and its affiliates may collect and process your information according to its Global Recruiting Privacy Policy.
AI at Notion
Notion encourages employees to be curious, experimental, and comfortable using AI as a practical collaborator in their work. Deep AI expertise is not required for every role, but the company expects people to engage with AI thoughtfully and use it to work more effectively.
