Role overview
This position is for a software sales professional who will represent Precisely’s Data Integrity Suite, data governance offerings, and location intelligence data products. The role focuses on winning new business, growing existing accounts, and working with regional partners to build a strong territory strategy and drive revenue.
Precisely is an AI-first organization, so employees are expected to use AI tools to work more efficiently, improve quality, and reduce low-value tasks. Comfort with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, along with the ability to judge AI outputs critically and adapt to new capabilities, is part of the role expectation.
What you will do
- Learn Precisely’s products, services, and approved sales approach.
- Build knowledge of industry trends, market opportunities, and customer pain points in the assigned territory.
- Create and execute plans that generate pipeline and revenue.
- Develop trusted client relationships and use them to open new accounts and additional buying centers.
- Work with Marketing, Sales Engineering, Services, and other teams to create demand and strong solution-based business cases.
- Use the wider Precisely network, including channel partners, distributors, and technology partners, to broaden territory impact.
- Keep customer value and experience central across the full customer lifecycle.
- Record sales activities and maintain territory forecasts in Salesforce CRM.
- Assist the VP of APAC in line with regional strategy and plans.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in place of the degree.
- At least 5 years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in SaaS.
- Strong ability to engage clients and build relationships across all levels.
- Proven negotiation skills and success with value-based or outcome-based selling.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and time management.
- Experience and understanding of data and governance sales.
- Curiosity and adaptability, with the ability to understand customer businesses and shape innovative solutions together.
- Willingness to travel about 25% of the time.
AI skills and knowledge
- Ability to use commercial AI assistants and LLMs for account research and market research.
- Understanding of agentic AI and how such agents can improve business processes.
- Working knowledge of common AI terminology used in business settings.
Preferred profile
- Background in SaaS software sales.
- Experience selling to regulated sectors such as financial services, healthcare, or government.
- Track record of selling successfully in a global organization with a broad product and services portfolio.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and driving customer success in a matrixed sales environment.
- Singapore-based candidates are preferred, though highly qualified applicants from other ASEAN locations may also be considered.
- Mandarin, Bahasa, or Thai language skills would be an advantage.
