Role Overview
Ivalua, founded in 2000, is a global provider of cloud procurement and spend management technology. The company supports digital transformation by helping organizations strengthen supply chain resilience, improve sustainability outcomes, and unlock better collaboration with suppliers. Its platform is used by many well-known brands to manage spend across categories, reduce risk, improve productivity, and support ESG performance.
About the Opportunity
This Account Executive position is focused on acquiring new enterprise customers across Ivalua’s market verticals. The role suits a driven sales professional who is comfortable owning the full sales cycle, from early prospecting through to deal close, while engaging senior decision-makers and positioning strategic business value.
Key Duties
- Deliver strong annual sales performance and work toward exceeding target.
- Create detailed account plans for each assigned enterprise prospect and execute them effectively.
- Identify, prospect, and build pipeline for net-new enterprise opportunities.
- Work directly with C-level stakeholders to present value, manage the sale, and bring deals to closure.
- Bring a proactive, consultative perspective to target accounts and act as a trusted advisor.
- Coordinate internal teams and prospect-side stakeholders to build joint customer strategy plans.
- Prepare and present executive-level sales proposals tailored to senior audiences.
- Maintain forecast accuracy within a benchmark of plus or minus 10%.
- Keep the internal system of record updated and accurate.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant has deep experience in enterprise software sales, preferably with exposure to procurement or supply chain solutions. Success in this role requires a strong track record of hitting or surpassing quota, confidence in executive conversations, and the ability to manage complex, multi-party sales processes. Experience selling into greenfield accounts and building enterprise account strategies is important, along with a sharp understanding of client pain points and value-based selling.
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates may be contacted by the talent team for an initial screening conversation. The interview journey is designed to assess role-related competencies through a series of customized interviews with relevant internal stakeholders. Meetings may take place virtually by video or in person.
