About the Role
Readymix Qatar is hiring an experienced AC & Refrigeration Mechanic to support the upkeep of industrial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment in Doha. The role calls for a technically strong professional who can diagnose issues, carry out testing, and complete maintenance work safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and workplace discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify faults and carry out repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Use specialist instruments to test system performance and fine-tune operating parameters.
- Carry out both planned preventive maintenance and unplanned corrective maintenance.
- Review and understand engineering drawings to support repair and maintenance work.
- Work in line with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements at all times.
- Accurately complete job sheets, check tools and equipment before use, and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Support risk assessments and immediately escalate any safety-related incidents.
Requirements
- A recognized qualification in industrial maintenance, refrigeration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within construction or industrial processing settings.
- Strong diagnostic ability and hands-on troubleshooting expertise.
- Ability to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing.
- A dependable team member who demonstrates accountability and integrity.
- Certification related to refrigerant systems is preferred.
- A valid light vehicle driving license is preferred.
