About the role
In this leadership role within a temperature-controlled warehouse, you will guide a team of about 30 store persons along with two supervisors. The position centres on strong leadership, planning, coordination and communication, while staying actively visible and present with the team on the floor.
You will set direction, support performance improvement, and remain closely connected to everyday operations so the team can work efficiently and effectively. Success in this role will come from open communication, following through on commitments, and building trust through consistent actions.
As new systems and initiatives are introduced, this is a great time to join and play a part in shaping better ways of working together.
The roster for this role runs from Sunday to Wednesday, with shifts starting at 4:00am and ending at 2:30pm.
Key responsibilities
- Support team success through regular feedback, coaching and practical day-to-day help.
- Give clear direction and guidance so the team can perform strongly.
- Manage workforce planning, staffing levels and resource allocation according to operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Managers, Team Leaders and Supervisors to improve outcomes across the wider Distribution Centre.
About you
You are a motivated people leader who builds positive working relationships, handles honest conversations well and creates a workplace people want to be part of. You understand that effective leadership means being fair, consistent and supportive so your team can do its best work.

You should have strong communication skills, the confidence to influence and work collaboratively across different levels, and the ability to manage workplace matters and difficult conversations when needed.
