Warehouse Operator (5.5 days/Office hours)

Role overview

You will report to the warehouse Team Leader and support day-to-day warehouse operations. The main focus of the job is to pick and pack goods according to priority and keep warehouse part locations organized and up to date.

Key duties

• Accurately receive, store, pick, and issue materials
• Move stock and materials into or out of storage bins as needed
• Sort and manage materials in the warehouse
• Check physical inventory against records and documentation
• Carry out cycle counts and receive indirect materials on behalf of end users
• Maintain cleanliness and order in warehouse or production store areas
• Support the upkeep of materials-handling equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures at all times
• Comply with warehouse health and safety rules and requirements
• Work across different warehouse functions when required

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of O Level, N Level, or Nitec certificate; a diploma is preferred
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 15 to 25 kg
• Forklift certification is an added advantage
• Should be able to operate equipment such as a reach truck and pallet jack
• Ability to support AOG services is required
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge is needed
• Previous hands-on experience in a relevant role will be advantageous
• Comfortable working with different systems and processes across distribution channels
• Must be service-oriented, able to multitask, detail-focused, neat, and a strong team player
