Role overview
We are looking for an Underwriting Specialist to manage property-focused insurance underwriting for a brokerage environment in Gurugram. The role centers on assessing risk, working with property-related insurance lines, and supporting the placement of suitable coverage solutions for clients.
Core underwriting areas
- Review and handle property underwriting assignments with at least 3 years of relevant experience gained in an insurance company or brokerage.
- Work on Contractor's All Risk (CAR) insurance cases.
- Handle Equipment All Risk (EAR) insurance matters.
- Evaluate fire insurance policies.
- Assess coverage needs for buildings, contents, and plant & machinery.
