The Team Member is a key part of the Caribou experience. In this position, you help deliver exceptional guest service, prepare handcrafted drinks, and bring the company’s purpose and values into every interaction.

What You’ll Do

• Build genuine connections with guests and develop ongoing relationships over time.
• Listen carefully, respond with care, and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
• Use product knowledge and hospitality to anticipate needs and resolve concerns proactively.
• Offer enthusiastic, informed recommendations that enhance the visit.
• Prepare beverages to Caribou standards and follow operating procedures closely.
• Heat, prepare, and serve food items according to company guidelines.
• Move between barista and guest-service duties as needed and support all team responsibilities.
• Handle guest orders, manage the cash drawer, and follow cash-handling rules.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and sanitized so it feels well run and welcoming.
• Think ahead about what guests and teammates may need next and act accordingly.
• Recognize when an issue can be handled directly and when a leader should step in.
• Work well under changing priorities and follow direction from store leaders.
• Bring the core values to life: support one another, make fun happen, be yourself, take ownership, and serve with love.
• Show a positive attitude, a helpful mindset, and a willingness to learn and improve.
• Take responsibility, stay resilient under pressure, and ask for help when needed.

Requirements

• Available to work at least one of the following shifts: early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience is preferred.
• Able to perform physical tasks including seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
