Sr. QA/QC Engineer

About the Role

This opportunity is for a Senior QA/QC Engineer based in Doha, Qatar, supporting a major oil and gas organization. The role sits within a global workforce solutions environment and is focused on ensuring quality standards are met across engineering and project execution activities.

Role Purpose

The position is responsible for making sure that engineering, design, procurement, construction, installation of new equipment, and repair or modification work for onshore and offshore facilities all comply with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company procedures.

Required Qualifications

The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in engineering along with professional credentials in at least one of the following areas: welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), inspection, or auditing.

Experience Required

Candidates should bring at least 6 years of QA/QC experience in the oil and gas sector. Strong hands-on knowledge is needed in design and engineering, procurement and fabrication, and inspection and installation of process equipment and piping. The role also requires practical experience in resolving welding and QA/QC-related issues.

Skills Needed

Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English, comfortable using computers, and capable of handling data analysis and reporting. Strong interpersonal abilities and leadership skills are also important for success in this position.
