Special Education Support Officer

Role overview

The Special Education Support Officer will work within Humpty Doo Primary School to assist the Special Education Teacher in building effective connections with key people in the school community and putting inclusion-focused approaches into practice. The goal is to improve outcomes for students through coordinated support.

Administrative and classroom support

Depending on the direction of the Business Manager or Principal, this role may also provide professional administrative assistance. In addition, the successful person may support classroom activities and work alongside students who have multiple needs, following guidance from teaching staff and the leadership team.
