Site Supervisor / Foreman

Job summary

This role is for an experienced site supervisor/foreman who can manage day-to-day construction work on location. The position focuses on keeping activities safe, efficient, aligned with approved project details, quality expectations, and timelines. You will lead labor teams, work closely with engineers and subcontractors, and keep site operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily construction work at the site.
• Direct both skilled and unskilled labor groups as needed.
• Make sure tasks follow approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Track output and help the team meet project milestones on time.
• Liaise with site engineers, project engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Check workmanship and ensure it meets project standards.
• Apply health, safety, and environmental rules consistently.
• Lead daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Share daily updates on progress, manpower, equipment, and material needs.
• Spot on-site issues early and work toward quick resolution.
• Watch material consumption and reduce unnecessary waste.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-managed site.
• Support inspections, testing, and final handover activities.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least 5 years of construction site experience, including a minimum of 5 years working as a site supervisor or foreman on building, infrastructure, or industrial projects. A diploma or technical certificate in civil engineering, construction technology, or a similar field is preferred. Applicants with a high school diploma and extensive site supervision experience may also be considered.

Preferred certifications

OSHA, IOSH, or an equivalent health and safety certification is preferred. First aid certification is also preferred. A valid driving licence may be required depending on the project.
