Role overview

The site engineer will be responsible for managing construction work at the project location and ensuring that execution is completed to the required quality, within the planned timeline, and within budget. The position involves day-to-day coordination, progress tracking, documentation, technical checks, and collaboration with site teams to keep work aligned with approved drawings and site standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project execution at site and ensure work is completed according to quality standards, schedule, and cost targets.
• Track and plan project progress using appropriate project management methods.
• Carry out construction activities in line with approved drawings and site requirements.
• Maintain daily records of site progress and keep all necessary project documentation up to date.
• Inspect reinforcement, shuttering, column centering markings, and concrete quality.
• Understand site layouts and prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) when required.
• Work closely with foremen and supervisors to use materials efficiently, reduce wastage, and maintain safety standards.

Candidate profile

The preferred applicant should have strong communication skills and prior experience in civil contracting organizations. The role is suited to a candidate who can coordinate on-site, monitor technical quality, and support smooth construction delivery.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Civil Engineering.
