SEO Merchandizer

Role Overview

We are hiring a meticulous SEO Merchandizer to support the E-Commerce Team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role centers on improving search visibility, strengthening website performance, and helping the business adapt from classic SEO practices toward GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI-driven search strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and carry out SEO initiatives that help the website gain better visibility, more traffic, and stronger search rankings.
• Review website performance in Google Analytics and turn the findings into practical recommendations.
• Assist in the move from traditional SEO to GEO and AI-led search optimization approaches.
• Keep track of developments in AI search, conversational search platforms, and Agentic Commerce trends to spot new opportunities for the business.
• Act as a coordination point between SEO/digital agencies and internal IT teams so recommendations are implemented on time.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and technical teams to improve site structure, content quality, and overall performance.
• Measure, analyze, and report on SEO KPIs such as organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and user behavior.
• Build reports and dashboards in Microsoft Excel using advanced formulas, reporting, and data analysis techniques.
• Prepare polished presentations and project status updates in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Share regular progress and performance updates with management in clear, non-technical language.
• Stay current on SEO developments, AI search trends, and digital marketing best practices.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of practical SEO experience.
• Hands-on experience using Google Analytics.
• Solid understanding of SEO basics, technical SEO, and emerging GEO/AI search concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills for creating business presentations.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with agencies, developers, and internal stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas in simple business terms.
• Highly organized, responsible, and able to manage several priorities at once.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role is part of an E-Commerce Team and focuses on both operational SEO execution and forward-looking search optimization strategy.
