Job Summary
This opportunity is for an accomplished Senior Site Architect to support the delivery of premium residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects in Dubai. The role focuses on site-based architectural oversight, making sure the work follows approved drawings, local authority requirements, quality expectations, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee architectural activities on site and verify alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and intended design outcomes.
- Carry out routine site visits, inspections, and quality checks.
- Examine shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, and sample approvals from an architectural perspective.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, MEP specialists, and structural teams to resolve coordination issues.
- Participate in site discussions and provide clear architectural input and technical direction.
- Document snagging and de-snagging observations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor construction progress against project timelines, targets, and key milestones.
- Ensure all architectural work complies with UAE building regulations and relevant authority standards.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, RFIs, approvals, and as-built documentation.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution is required.
- Between 10 and 15 years of architectural experience, including at least 7 years in Dubai/UAE.
- Hands-on background working on developer-led projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials commonly used in the UAE.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate will have experience working with real estate developers in Dubai, particularly on luxury residential developments. Familiarity with consultant and contractor coordination, along with project handover procedures, will be an advantage.
