Senior Associate - Corporate

Role overview

Al Sulaiti Law Firm is looking for an accomplished bilingual Senior Corporate Associate to support its corporate and commercial practice in Doha. The role focuses on advisory work across mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate structuring, and company formation in Qatar and the wider MENA region.

What you will handle

• Advise on corporate and commercial matters, with a strong emphasis on M&A and joint venture transactions.
• Support corporate structuring and the incorporation of companies in Qatar and across the MENA region.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Work on regulatory and compliance issues, including matters involving the General Tax Authority (GTA).
• Manage complex assignments independently while maintaining strong quality standards under pressure.
• Use sound commercial judgment to offer practical, solution-focused legal advice.

What the firm is looking for

• A law degree together with a valid legal qualification.
• At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Demonstrated experience in M&A, joint ventures, corporate structuring, and company establishment.
• Strong drafting and negotiation capability for commercial contracts.
• Good working knowledge of Qatari legal and regulatory requirements.
• Background in regulatory and compliance matters.
• Exposure to tax-related matters and dealings with the General Tax Authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Additional exposure to litigation, employment law, or data privacy will be an advantage.
• An interest in technology and digital innovation is also considered beneficial.
