About Gallagher

Gallagher is driven by a clear purpose: protecting what matters most. That commitment shows up every day in the way the company supports critical security environments, agricultural businesses, employees, families, and communities.

Gallagher Security is focused on helping customers realise greater value through its people and solutions. With 88 years of innovation behind it, the business has a long history of solving problems creatively, from developing the first electric fence in the 1930s to delivering modern security products that improve productivity and efficiency.

The company’s mission goes beyond traditional security. It aims to show customers that security can be the starting point for broader business benefits and that its solutions can deliver far more than expected.

About the role

This is the first role dedicated to sales enablement within Gallagher Security, giving you the opportunity to define how the business supports selling across regions. You will equip teams with the tools, context, and resources needed to turn deep product capability into stronger market results.

The role works closely with teams across regions, product, marketing, training, sales operations, and pricing to clear obstacles, improve alignment, and establish a practical enablement cadence that supports commercial performance.

Key focus areas

  • Build trusted relationships with regional sales teams and head office stakeholders to identify barriers to effective selling and coordinate support to address them.
  • Set up and lead a recurring sales enablement forum that shares updates, captures regional needs, and helps shape the longer-term enablement plan.
  • Develop and maintain useful enablement materials such as presentations, tools, and field assets that close knowledge gaps and support the sales team.
  • Gather local market intelligence, competitor activity, and win/loss insights, then pass those findings to the relevant teams to improve responsiveness.
  • Work with the training function to identify capability gaps, support learning pathways, and speed up onboarding for new sales hires.
  • Apply AI tools and commercial data to improve sales learning, strengthen engagement with complex product information, and lift overall performance.

About you

You have a strong understanding of what effective sales enablement looks like and have the experience to build something new from the ground up. You bring credibility, influence, and the drive to create structure, momentum, and scale.

What you will bring

  • At least 7 years of experience in sales and/or sales enablement, with direct sales experience preferred.
  • Background in a complex environment with multiple products, markets, or global reach.
  • Strong commercial judgement, including confidence in reading pipeline data, spotting patterns, and linking insights to enablement actions.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, coordinate, and align people without formal authority.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation ability, with the skill to turn complex information into clear, engaging, and practical content.
  • Working understanding of AI tools and how they can support sales learning, productivity, and performance.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working across time zones when required.

Working at Gallagher

You will join a global organisation that values creativity, innovation, collaboration, passion, craftsmanship, and mutual respect. The environment is designed to help teams turn vision into meaningful outcomes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with bonuses
  • Hybrid flexibility, usually 3 days in the office each week, with extra onsite time when work requires it
  • KiwiSaver contribution on top, plus life and disability insurance
  • Mentorship and professional development support
  • A collaborative team culture with team-building activities, creative inspiration trips, and a positive workplace atmosphere

Additional information
