Role Summary
The Risk Management Supervisor will oversee the daily execution of Salehiya’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and report to the Senior Manager, Audit and Risk. This position calls for solid knowledge of risk identification, evaluation, treatment, and monitoring, along with the ability to communicate clearly, present effectively, and lead risk workshops and training sessions for both managers and staff. The role also requires close coordination with departments to align risk activities with business goals, familiarity with recognized frameworks such as COSO, COSO ERM, and ISO 31000, strong analytical ability, and a proactive approach to identifying new and emerging risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the corporate risk register current and ensure departments provide updates in a timely manner.
- Track mitigation actions with risk owners, monitor progress, and test controls once implemented to confirm they work effectively.
- Compile regular risk reports and dashboard updates for senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
- Observe KRIs, raise follow-up actions when thresholds are crossed, and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
- Partner with risk champions across departments to support risk identification, awareness, and updates.
- Review risks submitted by management and validate them as part of ongoing risk monitoring.
- Plan and coordinate the logistics, scheduling, and records for risk workshops and related meetings.
- Create and maintain risk documentation, including policies, procedures, and templates.
- Help define and review the organization’s risk appetite and tolerance levels.
- Track internal and external changes that may introduce emerging risks and escalate them appropriately.
- Support the use and administration of risk management systems or software tools.
- Update risk training content and assist with awareness sessions.
- Provide risk-related input to internal audit and compliance teams during planning, coordination, and assurance work.
- Handle ad hoc risk requests and contribute to special assignments or initiatives as directed by management.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional credentials such as CRMA, IRMCert, or similar are considered an advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or supply chain sector.
