Role overview

Controlled Environments Company (CEC) works as a single-source supplier and solutions partner for customers operating in highly controlled, critically clean environments. This role is focused on overseeing cleanroom gowning standards and ensuring that procedures are understood, followed, and communicated clearly to cleanroom staff, colleagues, managers, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and uphold gowning procedures within the cleanroom environment.
• Check adherence to cleanroom protocols and expectations.
• Guide users on correct gowning methods and proper gown room behaviour.
• Maintain a high standard of order and cleanliness in the gown room.
• Track garment and consumable stock levels and prepare related reports.
• Oversee hanger locations and handle hanger-related queries, including reporting.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and site procedures.
• Recognise and respect the critical importance of all controlled clean spaces.
• Record observations, notes, and logs of any breaches or issues.
• Escalate and report any failure to comply with gown room protocol.

Skills and experience needed

• Ability to build professional working relationships with cleanroom personnel, management, and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and sustained concentration.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Reliable work ethic with a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfort working independently and adapting to changing requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Prior use of Power BI or a similar reporting platform.
• Good knowledge of IT systems and general system use.
• Capability to collect, document, and compile weekly reports for key stakeholders.
