Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to plan, coordinate, and execute project management activities effectively while overseeing clinical operations for assigned projects so that clinical research activities run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for sponsors on the studies assigned to you.
- Guide and coordinate cross-functional team leads as well as external partners and vendors.
- Oversee contractual project deliverables, including milestone-related payments and insurance qualification.
- Track and control project scope and costs in a timely manner to reduce financial risk.
- Make sure each project follows company SOPs, policies, and guidelines.
- Ensure projects are aligned with Tigermed systems and processes such as CTMS, OA, and eTMF, and escalate issues to the appropriate functional and operational leaders when needed.
- Take part proactively in bid defense activities.
- Provide training to project team members and help develop an effective team environment.
- Share performance feedback on project team members with their respective line managers.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a medical, pharmacology, or biology-related field. A college diploma may also be considered if the candidate has strong personal attributes and relevant project management experience.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of drug development processes and regulations, including local regulations, GCP, and clinical trial operations. A current GCP certificate is required. Business skills such as budgeting and broader commercial understanding will be considered an advantage.
The role requires at least 10 years of industry experience, including no less than 6 years of project management experience in Australia and New Zealand. Prior CRO experience is preferred, though candidates with exceptional project management achievements may also be considered.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with excellent project management and time management skills.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Zealand.
