Role Overview
Huawei Enterprise Italia is looking for a Programmatic Bidding Science Expert to contribute to advanced advertising bidding research and applied algorithm development in Greater Dublin.
Core Focus
- Work on bidding strategy science, auction-related mechanisms, and algorithmic approaches that improve advertising performance.
- Track cutting-edge developments in bidding systems and quickly translate new industry methods into practical solutions for the business.
- Support the design and use of billing and bidding frameworks across programmatic advertising workflows.
Qualifications and Background
- A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or a closely related field is required.
- Experience in advertising bidding, reinforcement learning, auction mechanism design, or game theory is preferred.
- Exposure to research and implementation in bidding strategy systems and billing mechanisms is expected.
- Practical knowledge of smart bidding, budget pacing, cold start approaches, campaign stability, anti-fraud measures, and attribution is an advantage.
- Candidates with published papers or posters in respected journals, conferences, or workshops are particularly desirable.
- The role calls for strong technical judgment, a research-driven mindset, and the ability to stay current with emerging technologies.
