Production Worker

Overview

This is an opportunity for skilled production workers or machine operators to join a casual team in Gepps Cross, South Australia. The starting roster is a day shift of 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of moving into rotating 3-day day or night shifts of 12.5 hours each across Monday to Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday.

For the right person, this role may also lead to a permanent position.

What the role involves

• Running production machinery and identifying or resolving basic operating issues
• Putting together product components and finished items
• Keeping handwritten production records
• Checking and testing products for quality
• Carrying out routine cleaning across the work area
• Loading and unloading trucks

What the employer is looking for

Experience in plastic manufacturing is highly regarded. Backgrounds in machine operation, production, manufacturing, or general labouring will also be considered.

Applicants must be either an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia.

Shift pattern and working conditions

The role begins on a day-shift schedule, with the potential to transition into longer 12.5-hour day or night shifts. A full-time permanent arrangement may involve a 3-day work week totaling 37.5 hours across those three days.
