Role Overview

Mac World Logistic is hiring a full-time Pricing Specialist to work on-site in Dubai. In this position, you will examine freight costs, build pricing approaches, negotiate carrier rates, and help prepare competitive quotations for clients. You will work closely with freight forwarding and customer service teams to create pricing solutions that are commercially strong and responsive to market conditions. The role also requires ongoing monitoring of rate movements and industry trends to support sound pricing decisions and maintain competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Study freight cost structures and assess pricing opportunities.
• Create and refine pricing strategies for client quotations.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and other service partners.
• Coordinate with freight forwarding and customer service teams to align pricing with operational needs.
• Track market developments, rate changes, and competitive trends.
• Support timely, accurate, and commercially effective pricing decisions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in sea and air freight pricing within a freight forwarding company.
• Strong understanding of freight operations for both sea and air import/export movements.
• Practical knowledge of freight forwarding processes and day-to-day handling.
• Experience working with import/export and forwarding workflows.
• Good analytical ability to evaluate rates, costs, and market trends.
• Goal-driven and results-focused attitude.
• Strong collaboration and coordination skills.
• Customer-focused approach with quick response time and problem-solving ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage.
• Professional, highly ethical, and disciplined work style.
• Ability to manage time well and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and freight management systems.
