About the Company
The client is an upscale fresh-food retailer recognized for exceptional product quality, strong category knowledge, and a hospitality-first culture. With a trusted reputation and stores in select East Coast locations, the business is now looking for a President who can help transform a founder-led operation into a resilient, scalable organization without losing the premium standards, customer experience, and culture that set the brand apart.
About the Role
The President will report directly to the Owner and take overall responsibility for enterprise-wide operations. This includes retail stores of approximately 10 locations, commissary and food production, supply chain and distribution, marketing and brand, human resources, IT, and finance.
Qualifications
- More than 15 years of operational leadership experience in multi-location fresh food retail and/or distribution.
- Proven ability to lead across functions and align teams spanning multiple business areas.
- Background in a premium hospitality environment or a brand-led business.
- Success working closely with a founder, owner, or CEO to scale and bring structure to an organization.
- History of strengthening operating discipline within a brand-focused business.
