About the role
This role sits within a fast-moving warehouse setting and supports the handling of parcels from arrival through dispatch. The position is part of a Fortune Global 500 organization known for a strong team culture and opportunities to build skills while contributing to daily operations.
What you will do
You will be involved in core warehouse activities such as loading, unloading, receiving, shipping, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. The role may also involve using heavy equipment or machinery where required, and you may be assigned additional operational tasks as business needs change.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out package-handling procedures correctly and consistently according to company standards.
- Move parcels into and out of trailers and package vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Support scanning, sorting, stocking, and other warehouse flow activities.
- Operate in a high-energy environment and adapt to extra duties when assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to handle items weighing up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Strong attention to detail when reading and remembering postal codes.
- Willingness to work flexible shift patterns for up to 5 days per week.
- Warehouse background is preferred.
Employment details
This is a permanent position based in Galway, County Galway, Ireland. The workplace is onsite.
