Role Overview
McCabes Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the Sandyford team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role sits within PHX Ireland, where diversity, teamwork, quality, and innovation are core to how the business operates. This position is about more than dispensing medicines; it also involves helping customers feel supported and cared for.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and dispense prescriptions with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.
- Handle prescription documentation and support monthly HSE PCRS claims processing.
- Provide practical over-the-counter guidance to patients and customers.
- Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer experience.
- Oversee dispensary stock, including expiry-date checks, ordering, and day-to-day stock control.
- Contribute ideas, take initiative, support personal development, and participate in team projects.
What We’re Looking For
The essential qualification for this role is either the IPU Pharmacy Technician course or a Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
