Package Handler (Warehouse like)

Role overview

FedEx Canada is hiring a Package Handler for its Kenora, Ontario facility. This is a morning PPT role offering an hourly wage of $21.00. The position is based on-site and involves hands-on warehouse-style freight handling.

What you will do

• Load and unload freight as it moves through the facility.
• Scan incoming and outgoing freight accurately.
• Sort shipments within the site to support smooth operations.

Required knowledge and abilities

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and people skills are needed.
• You must be able to complete all initial and recurring training requirements successfully.
• Physical capability is required to lift up to 70 lb and manage parcels weighing up to 150 lb with the proper equipment.

For positions where driving is a core job function, candidates must hold a valid driver’s licence such as Class 5, G, or 1 (AZ), and have no more than two driving infractions and/or accidents in the 24 months before applying.
