Role Overview

The office cleaner role is responsible for keeping the facility clean, tidy, and presentable at the highest standard. The work supports excellent customer experiences and helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Schedule

This is an evening and overnight position with the following shifts: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 1:00 am, and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 pm to 2:00 am.

Key Duties

• Keep floors, washrooms, and waste bins clean and well maintained throughout the site.
• Carry out cleaning and disinfection tasks in washrooms, shared spaces, and children’s play areas.
• Refill consumables such as toilet tissue, hand towels, and hand soap when they run low.
• Dust reachable surfaces, including phone booths, countertops, pillars, light fixtures, and window ledges.

Candidate Profile

Dexterra is seeking someone with a positive attitude, prior cleaning exposure, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job. Strong communication and safe use of cleaning supplies are important, along with reliability and readiness to work independently or alongside others.

Additional Requirements

• At least 6 months of cleaning experience is required.
• Experience with floor care such as scrubbing, buffing, and polishing is an advantage.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods.
• Comfort using cleaning chemicals and related products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a supervisor, clients, and members of the public.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Applicants must be 19 years of age or older.
• A clear criminal background check is mandatory.
• Own transportation is required.
