Role Summary

This graduate opportunity is intended for candidates joining in 2026. It is designed for people who want to take on ambitious technical challenges, contribute fresh ideas, and grow quickly in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve LLM-based search solutions for a variety of search settings, including pre-training methods and efficient RLHF, with the goal of improving relevance, freshness, and other important ranking factors.
• Apply multimodal models to learn visual representations and understand video content, helping strengthen search retrieval performance.
• Create personalized ranking methods that better capture user intent and return more relevant search results.
• Develop dependable online search services with low latency using large-scale data, while maintaining stability and a strong user experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently completing, or recently completed, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning, with exposure to NLP, computer vision, or broader ML work.
• Good programming ability and a solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in Linux and proficient in C++ and Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working at companies focused on large models.
• Background in search, recommendation, or advertising domains.
• Research publications in leading conferences such as ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, CVPR, ICCV, or ECCV.
