Role overview
Article Student Living is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for its HERE Kansas property in Lawrence, KS. This role is focused on keeping the property operating to established standards, with attention to safety, appearance, and overall maintenance performance. You will help maintain the grounds, shared community spaces, and the property’s curb appeal.
Day-to-day duties will shift based on what the community needs at the time. The position also requires you to deliver professional resident service, along with a polished personal presentation.
The team’s mission is to create the best possible living experience for student residents by prioritizing people, supporting employees, and investing in training, benefits, and career growth across the portfolio.
You will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Compensation
The hourly pay for this position is $21 to $22, and the role also includes shared commission.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining a secure environment for both employees and residents.
- Address building and property issues as they come up within the community.
- Recommend ideas that could improve efficiency and overall operations.
- Be available for on-call duty during designated periods of the month.
Experience and profile
Applicants should bring at least 1 year of relevant experience in maintenance or construction work. A strong customer service mindset is also expected.
