Role Overview

In this position, you will handle the final presentation of garments and linens with accuracy and care. Your work helps ensure guests receive neatly finished items that reflect high service standards and add to their comfort and confidence.

Key Duties

• Use steam presses, ironing tools, and related finishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Select the right heat, pressure, and technique based on the fabric type, including delicate silks and heavier cotton materials.
• Check items before and after pressing for stains, defects, or other issues so only well-finished pieces are returned.
• Observe all hygiene and safety guidelines to keep the work area clean and free from hazards.
• Coordinate with the laundry team to help operations run efficiently.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should already have relevant experience in a luxury hotel laundry environment, understand textile care, and be familiar with advanced pressing methods. The role also requires solid English communication skills and a courteous, positive approach when dealing with guests and colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the same role within a 5-star luxury hotel.
• Strong understanding of different fabrics and how to care for them properly.
• Working knowledge of pressing instructions and advanced finishing techniques.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude toward guests and team members.
