Junior SOC Controller

About the Role

Pinkerton is seeking a Junior SOC Controller in Pune to support the monitoring and protection of client operations. The role focuses on maintaining security standards, handling incident response, and helping ensure a safe environment for employees, visitors, confidential data, and business assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Act in line with Pinkerton’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Keep watch over security and safety events and respond appropriately when client members, visitors, or operations may be affected.
• Deliver responsive customer service and work toward practical solutions for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor electronic security systems in real time to identify unauthorized access or suspicious activity at client office locations.
• Be the first point of contact for employees and other concerned parties who need to report incidents, request emergency support, or seek security guidance.
• Escalate incidents, events, or environmental issues to senior management when they may negatively affect the client’s interests.
• Review identified security incidents and prepare detailed reports for the Security Analyst Supervisor.
• Handle other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Global Command Centre operations.
• Prior experience working with or interacting across global teams.
• A bachelor’s degree, graduation, or an equivalent qualification with formal security education.
• Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
• Good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to changing business or external conditions.
• Capacity to support process improvements and manage sensitive information confidentially.

Working Conditions

• Regular use of computers is required.
• Occasional reaching, lifting small objects, and operating office equipment may be needed.
• The job involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Travel may be required.
