About MUBI
MUBI is an international streaming platform, film producer, and distributor focused on celebrating exceptional cinema. The company selects, acquires, promotes, and supports visionary films so they can reach audiences worldwide. Its teams work across London, New York, Istanbul, Paris, Berlin, and Mexico to bring that mission to life.
This role offers the opportunity to join MUBI’s global creative environment and contribute to making great cinema available to a wider audience.
About the Role
The Creative team is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer with a real enthusiasm for film to join the London headquarters. The position involves creating high-quality creative work across print, digital, and motion for one of the most distinctive film brands in the industry.
This is a hybrid role, with three days per week required in the London office.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the design team to develop and deliver creative concepts that promote curated film programming, including brand campaigns, social content, film key art, trailer motion graphics, and related assets.
- Produce rollout and production materials such as adaptations, banners, social cards, and key art templates accurately, to brief, and within tight deadlines across a busy release schedule.
- Work with teams across the business while also being comfortable taking ownership and completing tasks independently.
- Protect and uphold brand consistency, accuracy, and craft in every output.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas during concept development.
- Actively look for new approaches to the brand’s visual language and stay informed about evolving design trends, tools, and technologies.
What You’ll Bring
- A formal qualification in design and 1–2 years of professional experience.
- Strong capability across digital, print, and motion design, with growing typographic sensitivity and an eye for on-brand execution.
- A modern design sensibility and the confidence to present ideas, respond to feedback, and refine work quickly.
- The ability to manage high volumes of work and multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting while meeting deadlines and raising risks early.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively with designers, marketers, and other partners.
- Solid knowledge of production methods, including image editing, manipulation, and compositing across different media.
- A genuine interest in both film and design, along with a commitment to keeping up with current tools and trends.
Software and Technical Skills
- Professional-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Intermediate knowledge of After Effects and Figma is preferred.
- Experience with scripting or plugin development, such as InDesign ExtendScript or Figma plugins, is an advantage.
Eligibility
Only candidates with the legal right to work in the UK can be considered.

Candidates are assessed without discrimination based on race, color, religion, nationality or ethnic origin, age, gender identity or expression, sex, marital status, physical or mental disability, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, family or parental status, or any other protected characteristic.
