About the Role

Vacatia is looking for a Housekeeper to join its resort team in Pompano Beach, Florida. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and inviting spaces while contributing to a positive guest experience.

In this role, you will help keep guest rooms and shared areas spotless and well-presented so visitors can enjoy a pleasant stay.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $16 per hour.

Key Duties

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces to a high standard.
• Replace linens, make beds, and replenish guest supplies and amenities.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and ironing when required.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, and help ensure equipment remains in proper working condition.
• Protect guest privacy and handle confidential information with care at all times.
• Work closely with other team members to keep housekeeping operations running smoothly.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team and property.

• Physical capability to handle cleaning responsibilities, including standing for long periods and lifting when necessary.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safe work practices.
• Housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful but not mandatory.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays when the schedule requires it.
