Role overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in a long-term care setting in Foley, Alabama. This position supports the daily comfort and well-being of residents, while also helping create a positive experience for staff, guests, and the broader community.

The starting pay for this role is USD 12.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Carry out everyday cleaning duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and administrative areas.
• Follow approved cleaning and sanitation methods while observing safety standards.
• Keep simple records of completed cleaning work and escalate repair or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Apply infection-prevention and universal precaution practices to maintain a healthy environment.
• Provide courteous, positive interactions with residents, team members, and visitors.
• Handle any additional tasks assigned to support the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Housekeeping background is helpful, though not mandatory.
• Ability to communicate professionally with occupants, facility administration, and HCSG leadership while completing daily duties.
• Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Comfort working on repetitive tasks for extended stretches.
• Ability to work around cleaning agents and related supplies.
• Capability to understand and follow spoken and written instructions.
• Residence within the service area is required.
