Head of Program Management

Overview

A stealth startup in San Francisco is hiring a highly organized, execution-oriented Head of Program Management to own major cross-functional initiatives and keep strategic programs moving on schedule.

What you'll do

• Own the program management function across the company.
• Translate strategic priorities into coordinated execution plans.
• Build and refine program management processes, frameworks, and operating practices.
• Work closely with teams across Engineering, Product, Sales, and other functions.
• Manage schedules, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Prepare progress updates and status reporting for company leadership.
• Strengthen operational efficiency and execution rigor.
• Keep teams aligned on goals, milestones, and ownership.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in program or project management.
• Background leading large, complex initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
• Track record of driving execution in fast-moving environments.
• Hands-on experience with program management tools and established methodologies.

Preferred qualifications

• PMP, Scrum, or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in technology or product-led organizations is preferred.
• Exposure to engineering and product team collaboration is beneficial.
