HCM and Payroll Expert (m/w/d)

Role overview

This full-time, on-site position in Constance, Baden-Württemberg focuses on managing and improving the HR system environment, with an emphasis on SAP HCM and Workday. You will act as the connecting point between HR specialists and SAP consultants, help translate business needs into technical changes, and support the stability of core integrations across HR, finance, and time management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop the HR application landscape, particularly SAP HCM and Workday.
• Serve as the communication bridge between the HR business team and SAP consulting partners.
• Collect, structure, and coordinate business requirements, then oversee the resulting system changes.
• Ensure reliable interfaces between SAP, Workday, finance, and time recording solutions.
• Contribute to projects involving S/4HANA and Fiori.
• Investigate issues and provide day-to-day operational support.

Requirements and profile

• Hands-on experience with SAP HCM; exposure to S/4HANA and Fiori is considered an advantage.
• Solid understanding of HR processes, especially payroll and time management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across stakeholders.
• Comfortable translating between business requirements and IT implementation.
• Very good German skills and good English skills are required.
