Role Overview

This full-time, on-site General Labourer (Probationary) position is based in Kingston, Ontario. The role supports day-to-day manufacturing and plant operations by carrying out routine manual, equipment, and housekeeping tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep equipment clean and lubricated, and make sure the production area stays clear of dirt and debris.
• Handle assigned tools by putting them away or preparing them for use as needed.
• Follow instructions to operate machinery, provide or hold routine materials and tools, and load or unload items from machines and assembly lines.
• Carry out standard property care activities.
• Complete non-technical routine work within the plant.
• Perform basic checks on completed products to confirm quality.
• Escalate concerns or abnormalities to a supervisor or senior team member.
• Adhere to all required safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is typically expected.

Knowledge and Skills

• Clear basic verbal and written communication.
• The ability to listen carefully, understand instructions, and carry them out correctly.
• Flexibility to work across different types of tasks and duties.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position is CAD 22.00. The role may also qualify for a short-term incentive.
