Front Desk Attendant

Position Overview

The City of Clemson is hiring a part-time Front Desk Attendant for the Central Clemson Recreation Department. The role centers on customer service, membership sales, handling membership software, and preparing membership-related reports. This position is expected to work primarily evening hours and will report to the CCRC Director.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front desk customer service for the Central Clemson Recreation Center.
• Sell memberships and assist with membership-related transactions.
• Operate and update membership software accurately.
• Prepare and generate reports related to memberships.
• Maintain professional and effective working relationships with the public, city staff, and city officials.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants should have a strong grasp of customer service and the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people. The city gives preference to candidates who can show excellent relationship-building skills in a public-facing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General office experience.
