About the Role
InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is seeking a Front Desk Agent to help create a polished first impression for guests. In this role, you will support smooth arrivals and departures, provide helpful local guidance, and respond to guest needs with warmth and attention.
About the Property
Situated on Hayat Island, the resort blends island living with genuine Arabian hospitality. Set less than an hour from Dubai, it offers beachfront surroundings, sea views, natural landscapes, rooms, villas, residences, multiple dining venues, and spa and leisure facilities designed for families, couples, and groups.
Key Duties
- Welcome guests in a friendly and memorable way from the moment they arrive.
- Recognize IHG Rewards Club members and repeat visitors, whether face-to-face or by phone.
- Handle booking-related payments accurately and professionally.
- Ensure check-in and check-out procedures are quick, smooth, and guest-friendly.
- Stay alert to guest preferences and needs so you can make proactive suggestions and recommendations.
- Serve as a dependable point of contact for guests, including support with billing questions and dining suggestions.
What We’re Looking For
You should be comfortable communicating clearly with guests, whether they are sharing praise or raising concerns. Strong problem-solving ability is important, as you’ll be expected to turn service challenges into positive experiences. Fluency in the local language is required, while additional languages are an advantage but not mandatory. You also need to be comfortable with reading, writing, basic numeracy, and using computers.
