About the company
telli is building AI voice agents for customer conversations, helping B2C businesses move away from slow menus, repeated explanations, and poor customer experiences. The product is already being used by well-known customers such as Sky, and the company’s focus is to help businesses build, launch, and continuously improve voice-based AI agents at scale. The team is small, highly AI-driven, and works quickly across engineering, product, and go-to-market functions with a low-ego, ownership-heavy culture.
Role overview
This role is for the founding SDR, responsible for creating pipeline for a voice AI product with strong market demand. Over time, the position is expected to grow into ownership of the full sales cycle, while also helping define the sales approach and the foundation for the future sales team.
What you will do
- Build a strong flow of qualified leads to support a 10x increase in revenue over the next year.
- Research and prioritize the right prospects to target.
- Run outreach across several channels, including email, LinkedIn, and phone.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Progress into managing deals end-to-end, potentially as soon as 6 months after consistently strong performance.
- Keep pipeline records updated and work with CRM tools effectively.
- Help define telli’s go-to-market approach, create a repeatable sales process, and improve outreach methods.
What the company is looking for
- Prior sales experience in startups or similarly fast-paced environments.
- A track record of regularly hitting or surpassing targets and KPIs.
- Solid commercial thinking and the ability to understand the challenges faced by different businesses.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to take on less glamorous work when needed.
- Strong communication skills in both English and German.
- Comfort working with a smart, kind, and low-ego team.
- Availability to work from the Berlin office 5 days per week.
Who this role may not suit
- People who require detailed direction and avoid responsibility.
- Candidates without basic product understanding.
- Those who are only interested in strategic, high-level work.
- Anyone who does not enjoy direct customer interaction.
- People who have never sold anything before.
- Those who prefer remote work.
- Candidates who want little collaboration.
- People looking for a standard 9-to-5 schedule.
Working setup
This is a full-time role based in Berlin, Germany, with an in-office expectation of five days per week.
